I am seeing diferent behaviour in expirimental.

very slow one by one spawning. but they spawning without moving the camera

i was just about to post this as a new issue. 😂

There is no workaround right?
I havent found another way to share my issues list (except manually copying issue links)

Issue solved

I switched from winepulse.drv (PulseAudio/PipeWire) to winealsa.drv (ALSA), and that fixed the directional audio (3d audio) issue.

protontricks 1874880 sound=alsa

In case you don't have protontricks installed.

WINEPREFIX=/[path to your steam]/steamapps/compatdata/1874880/pfx winetricks sound=alsa

no other steps needed.

More Information.

since my last update to this Issue it did not occured to me again on any Server (vanilla or modded).

i know🙂. i just said they are too bright or should be more transparent so they wont obstruct the view

To be clear, I am grasping at straws to find a solution because this issue makes Arma Reforger unplayable.

I can only confirm this issue for WCS Servers not for Vanilla because i dont play it as often.
Although i know this from the times i used Windows, it is still there on Fedora.

If i remember correctly this happens much quicker when memory (either RAM or VRAM? ) gets almost used up (Chrome is always running in background).

In the past (4-7 months) this issue had different symptoms: if opening the map fps would drop but you would still be able to close the map and reopen it again and it would work fine. (overtime still increasing the probability of this issue).
Then after some time this issue would occure randomly too and would not go away. I then lowered the resolution to fix it.
This behavior caused me to drop resolution over time more and more. It is later but still in my windows 10 times that i found out a good way to restore the lag resistance was to go from borderless to windowed and back.

I lately stopped running the game on 100% GPU usage because the game would crash very often.
Paralell to that time when i used the GPU to 100% was that my gpu would go randomly from 83°C to 90°C which is the thermal throtteling limit.

no overclocking anywhere

UPDATE:
i just crashed as i opened the map on a session that was going on since 14 o'clock something.
Here is a clip (crashwhileopeningmap.mp4) + the log folder (logs_2026_07_14_15_44_55.zip).
But i have to be honest this could be due to another issue as i usual only get fps drops when opening the map

RHS lately only updated its Status quo mod without making changes to the Content pack probably due to minor changes. i cannot verify if this is still the case but i can confirm that this was the most updated state at that time at July 12, 2026.

I don't play vanilla too often therefor i could not verify this issue on vanilla.

That freedom does not get lost.
i just means if you want to have more effectivly rank points you will have to play along.

because right now. nobody listens to the commander. a lot of people want to be sniper.
and nobody is working together to attack targets together.
all parts where rewards do not influence the game. (except for squadleader coheesion)
i mean if people dont want it they can always play legacy conflict. HQ Commander is currently in a in-between world where it does not reach the goal it should.

I have recently concluded that the most effective way to improve teamplay is through a significantly overhauled and role-gated system of rank point progression in the HQ Commander game mode.

A dynamic ranking structure could incentivize specialized play by allocating variable points based on performance relative to assigned roles. For example:

• Recon Squads: Points should be delayed or modified based on specific actions, such as successfully dropping map markers at enemy positions identified from their designated recon task zone. Furthermore, the role of a spotter could earn more points for marking locations than for combat kills, while snipers might receive greater rewards when operating in a recon squad context that is otherwise underserved by other reconnaissance units.

• Combat Engineers: Increased points should be awarded specifically for successful repairs and maintenance efforts, recognizing their critical support role.

• Assault Squads: Rank point gain could be tied to the successful capture of assigned targets (particularly objectives like 'Secure this Base'). This ensures that players fulfill objectives beyond merely fighting, thereby preventing command redundancy or negligence.

The fundamental principle is that if players are incentivized through the reward system to progress and improve their gameplay, they will naturally learn and adopt the necessary roles. Even if the mechanics become complex, the underlying rules remain incredibly simple:

1. Identify a need within your team, and perform actions that fulfill it to earn rewards.

2. Execute the core responsibilities of your assigned role.

3. Complete objectives as mandated by your command assignments.

since my initial report the issue only occurred twice to me again. which makes this bug very rare. I doubt that internal testing will successfully result in a reproduction. 

but good news, my editing program is working again and here is Video evidence of the issue but it is on a WCS Server
