Latest update seems to have fixed this issue, ran the game with two of the latest drivers for vega56 and no crashes so far.

Done but I think I found the problem, windows forced new drivers even though I have auto update disabled on radeon software and supposedly on windows too, but maybe the logs can help find why it crashes on the latest drivers, I get worse FPS on these older drivers, Adrenalin 26.5.2 (WHQL Recommended) is the latest version that supports my GPU, from the AMD website itself.

Can't edit this to include new logs, is there any other way to send them to you?

In 1.8 experimental, I played just fine a bunch of times, today I decided to start it up again and changed texture filtering from highest to lowest before being ingame, and now no matter what I try to join, singleplayer gamemaster or a multiplayer server, its back to the same, crashes as soon as the loading finishes.

This requires a full server and a match going on for at least a while for it to become noticeable, unfortunately I haven't come across one in experimental that fits that criteria.

Okay it seems like driver version 21.10.2 works but I shouldn't have to use a 5 year old driver to play this game, might fix this one but break newer titles, still I guess it can be set to resolved.

If there is any debugging I can do with my gpu to help you get it working with the latest drivers I would be more than glad to help.

These custom drivers don't automatically update, which is why I find this so strange, the game was just fine, all I did was try to raise texture settings from lowest to low and it crashed while ingame, then I undid the setting on the main menu and loaded into the game and it worked just fine, and then the next time I tried to start it, no matter what, it crashes just when loading the main scenario, and it's even weirder since whenever I try to load any map on the workbench the same thing happens, it doesn't crash unless I click on the screen various times and then windows says its frozen, and CPU and Ram usage go way up.

Will try even though I'm running custom AMD drivers and have my vega56 flashed to a 64 bios, undoing all that is not going to be pleasant since the game has been working fine

It still comes down to the actual players, this year I haven't had a single loss as a soviet, and war isn't fair.

Restarting the scenario fixes it
