Description: Throwing a smoke grenade dynamically overrides the dedicated grenade quick-slot, locking out fragmentation grenades from being equipped there normally. This issue has been persistently occurring over multiple patches and is occurring every time.
Steps to Reproduce:
Equipe smoke grenades and fragmentation grenades in your inventory.
Select and throw a smoke grenade (e.g., by selecting it via hotkey 5).
Observe that the remaining smoke grenades automatically shift into the primary grenade quick-slot.
Attempt to drag/assign a fragmentation grenade from the inventory back into the grenade quick-slot.
Actual Result:
The grenade quick-slot becomes bugged. You cannot manually add a fragmentation grenade from the inventory into the grenade quick-slot after a smoke grenade has occupied it. Even putting a fragmentation granade into the quickslot 5 and selcting via 5 wont equip the fragmantation granades.
Expected Result:
Players should be able to freely swap, drag, or assign fragmentation grenades back into the grenade quick-slot regardless of prior smoke grenade usage.
Known Workarounds for QA/Players:
If you encounter this state, the slot can only be unbugged using one of these two methods:
Method 1 (Drop & Repick): Right-click and hover over the grenade quick-slot to drop the remaining smoke grenade onto the ground. Then, drop a fragmentation grenade from your inventory onto the ground and pick it back up—it will auto-slot into the now-empty grenade quick-slot.
Method 2 (Drop then equip via quickslot): Manually bind a fragmentation grenade to a quickslot (e.g., 5) from the inventory after you dropped the smoke grenade from the grenade quickslot. Close the inventory, and press that quickslot 5 to equip.
