There is a notable performance degradation issue with the LAV-25 optical sights. The vehicle features two sight modes (1x magnification and 7x magnification).
When switching from the 1x sight to the 7x high-magnification sight, the frame rate (FPS) drops significantly and the gameplay loses smoothness, resulting in visible stutter/lag. This occurs even though high magnification reduces the total field of view (FOV) and fewer objects are visible on screen compared to the 1x view.
Steps to Reproduce:
Enter the LAV-25 gunner position.
Aim through the primary sight in 1x magnification mode and monitor performance/FPS.
Switch the sight magnification to 7x.
Observe the sharp decrease in frame rate and the degradation of overall game smoothness.
Expected Result: Switching sight magnification modes on the vehicle should maintain a stable frame rate without stuttering or sudden performance drops.
Actual Result: FPS drops significantly and the game becomes noticeably un-smooth upon switching to the 7x sight.
