Description

Currently, users submitting bugs or feature requests cannot indicate how severely an issue impacts their gameplay experience.

I propose adding an optional Priority field (e.g., Low, Normal, High, Critical) during ticket creation/editing, similar to issue tracking systems like Jira. To prevent abuse, the highest priority level (Critical/Blocker) would be restricted to moderators and developers, while regular submissions default to Normal.

Rationale / Why it's needed:

  • Better Visibility for Developers: Helps dev teams and triage staff identify high-impact issues that cause severe frustration across the player base.

  • Player Voice: Gives the community a structured way to highlight which bugs or quality-of-life needs require immediate attention versus minor polish.

  • Prevents Priority Inflation: Restricting the Critical tier to staff/moderators ensures that players cannot spam top-priority flags on minor issues.

Suggested Implementation:

  • Priority Tiers: Low, Normal (Default), High, Critical (Staff Only).

  • Smart Defaults: Pre-select "Normal" so users don't have to fill it out unless they explicitly want to change it.

  • Filtering & Sorting: Allow users and devs to filter/sort public tickets by user-submitted priority on the tracker dashboard.

    Upvote / Priority Automation Integration:

    • Synergy with Existing Upvotes: Integrate the Priority system with the current ticket upvote/like mechanic.

    • Dynamic Auto-Escalation: When a ticket crosses specific community support thresholds (e.g., reaching 50 or 100 upvotes), the system automatically elevates its user priority to High.

    • Data-Driven Triage: Combines individual reporter feedback with broader community sentiment, giving developers an instant, unbiased signal of which issues need urgent attention without manual triage overhead.

    Hello.
We already prioritize issues internally on our end. Often times players are unable to correctly determine the priority themselves and we do not rely on playerbase to do so. Therefore such field is redundant

Same goes for upvotes, this can be easily abused by the community - we do see the upvotes ourselves and can determine the course of action without automated system
