What happened?

When a server configures the perspective mode using the new thirdPersonView parameter instead of the deprecated disable3rdPerson, the DayZ Launcher fails to parse the setting correctly.

Specifically, if a server sets thirdPersonView = 0 (1PP only / 1st Person only), the launcher incorrectly displays the server's mode as "3rd & 1st Person".

This happens because the launcher parser likely falls back to its default value ("3rd & 1st Person") when disable3rdPerson is absent, ignoring the new thirdPersonView key.

Environment / Version:

  • DayZ Launcher Version: 1.6.164064

Reproduction steps
  1. Configure a DayZ server using thirdPersonView = 0; in server.cfg (omitting disable3rdPerson).

  2. Launch the DayZ Launcher (v1.6.164064) and locate the server in the server browser.

  3. Check the Mode field in the server details panel.

  4. Observe that it incorrectly states "3rd & 1st Person" instead of "1st Person Only".

No
Expected result
  • thirdPersonView = 0 should display as 1st Person Only.

  • thirdPersonView = 1 should display as 3rd & 1st Person.

  • thirdPersonView = 2 should display as Vehicles Only 3PP (or 1st Person / Vehicles 3PP).

Actual Result: Setting thirdPersonView = 0 causes the launcher to falsely report the server mode as "3rd & 1st Person".
