So recently I was testing the mortar illumination flares vs underbarrel grenade launcher flares and I noticed that they last and illuminate approximately the same size/radius.
MY SUGGESTION FOR THE MORTAR FLARES:
The SIZE that the illumination flare lights up gets an increase to 100-150m BUT the LIFETIME gets SHORTENED to 38 SECONDS (the lifetime of the current ones is 1 min)
This would make the mortar flares Different from the underbarrel grenade launcher flares and more realistic since it most likely has more phosphorus compound inside than the UGL flare (at least the Soviet 82mm 2B14 mortar)

TRANSLATION
Depending on the fuze setting at a given point along the trajectory, the expelling charge ignites and, through gas pressure exerted on the diaphragm, detaches the tail section of the casing from the body, pushing out the ignited flare with its parachute. The optimal altitude for the start of illumination is 300 m. The illumination radius is 250–300 m. The average flare burn time is 38 seconds.
In the manual it says that it will light up an area of 250-300m.
But since I don't know what's the limit of the enfusion engine I'm only suggesting 100-150m
Adding a video from RHS mod to show what the change could look like (RHS flare lights up an area of around 200-250m for 7 seconds)
