DESCRIPTION:
When using an optic on the NSV or the PKMN placed on a tripod their optics DO NOT change their "zero",only the ironsights will change their zero (PKMN Ironsights can go to 1300m but the 1P29 can only go to 500m).
This makes the gun shoot at the same place no matter if the zero is set to 100m or 2000m.
(Watch me change the zero in the bottom right corner)
REPLICATION:
PKMN + 1929 + TRIPOD
Build a PKMN on a tripod with the 1P29 optic
Load the PKMN with TRACER ammo
set the zero to 100m and fire
note where the bullets had landed
Now set the zero to the highest possible zero the game allows you and fire
Now compare where the bullets landed when the zero was set to 100m and when it was set to the highest possible amount
The bullets should've landed in the same spot as the 100m zero
Now If you do the same test with the PKMN + 1P29 BUT WITHOUT the TRIPOD the sight should change it's zero correctly and the bullets should now land higher than the 100m zero if you set the optic to the max distance (1P29 optic has max zero of 500m)
NSV+SPP optic
Build a NSV on a tripod with the SPP optic
Load the NSV with TRACER ammo (both boxes have the tracers, one of them is mostly made out of tracers)
set the zero to 400m and fire
note where the bullets had landed
Now set the zero to the highest possible zero the game allows you (2000m) and fire
Now compare where the bullets landed when the zero was set to 100m and when it was set to the highest possible amount (2000m)
The bullets should've landed in the same spot as the 400m zero
Now If you do the same test with the NSV BUT WITHOUT the SPP optic, and set the zero to 2000m,the ironsights will have the correct zero and the bullets should now land higher/fly above the target than with 400m zero.
