If you use the mouse to steer but occasionally switch to the turn keys, the system may glitch for 2–3 seconds and "forget" that you disabled the automatic steering wheel centering feature.
After a few seconds, the system recalls that centering was disabled and resumes normal operation.
Verification method:
Disable steering centering, navigate a few turns using the mouse, and then take one turn using the steering key.
The system will attempt to center the steering for a few seconds until you have turned a couple of times using the mouse.
This minor oversight caused me to fly off the country road about ten times.😂
I understand that the steering wheel should auto-center when using keyboard controls, but the system shouldn't hesitate for several seconds when switching to the mouse.
A similar delay occurs when adjusting sensitivity settings: you change them, but the game doesn't apply the changes immediately—taking 5–10 seconds instead—which is misleading, as it seems like nothing has changed during those first few seconds.
