The first time I accessed this site, upon my account creation, the notifications panel would update everytime someone replied to me, and I think also when someone commented in a post in which I also left a comment. At the time of writing this, no notifications show up at all for any kind of activity.

For the last week or so I have been manually checking every post I am "following".

Refreshing the page does not cause notifications to update.
