Description

Hello Developers,

Following support guidance, I am submitting a formal compliance and ecosystem review regarding the proliferation of rank-gating scripts in the Arma Reforger Workshop (such as "Rank_lock_Snipers" by CMDR C.Hellman, "Rank Unlock V2", and similar frameworks).

This is no longer an isolated issue with one single mod. Multiple scripts offering the same rank-locking functionality are being widely adopted and weaponized by server hosts across Latin American and Iberian public server ecosystems to enforce hostile gatekeeping, heavily damaging Player Retention Rates.

System & Proliferation Analysis:

- Generalized Negative Feedback Loop: By hard-locking crucial MilSim roles and high-caliber precision weapons (.338, .408, .50 cal) behind steep rank metrics, administrators have turned a standard feature into an artificial progression barrier that forces working adults and casual players into a psychological churn state, leading to immediate game abandonment.

- Exploitative Power Asymmetry: Across several public community servers, these specific ranking mods are not utilized for simulation or balance. They are explicitly deployed to establish an equipment monopoly for administrative clans, leaving standard users as defenseless targets and forcing bans on players who object.

- Anti-QoL Coercion: Paired with scripts that disable dark-background loadout automation, it transforms a tactical simulation into an exhaustive, bureaucratic chore.

While sandbox freedom is a core pillar of the Arma series, the systemic abuse of these restrictive workshop scripts is hijacking public server ecosystems and alienating dedicated players. We urgently request a review on how backend compliance can prevent automated frameworks from destroying fair, realistic gameplay.

Thank you for your time and review.
