I have deleted the profile (disabled), all user-defined settings in Nvidia inspector, and the issue is still present.
I have done some more testing (with Nvidia Inspector disabled) with the hardware anti-aliasing. When I turn this setting off, then back on, I have noticed a huge improvement. The dropping frames still occur, but it's less intense.
