I played Experimental four days ago and this was still an issue then. I wasn't even brute forcing, I was just trying to enter my known code and it was tripping me up because I didn't know if the displayed numbers or the tool-tip numbers were correct. Here are screenshots from two separate times. Both times the tool-tip numbers were the actual entered numbers whereas the numbers on the physical lock model were incorrect.
