Try these steps in order:

Check if PlayStation Network is working normally. If PSN services are having issues, online games can fail to connect.

Restart everything:

Turn off the PS4 completely (not Rest Mode).

Unplug your modem/router for 2–5 minutes.

Turn the router back on, wait until it’s fully connected, then start the PS4.

Test another network. If possible, connect your PS4 to a mobile hotspot. If DayZ works there, the issue is with your home network or ISP.

Change your DNS on the PS4:

Primary: 1.1.1.1

Secondary: 1.0.0.1 Or try:

Primary: 8.8.8.8

Secondary: 8.8.4.4

Rebuild the PS4 database (Safe Mode → Rebuild Database). This won’t delete your games or saves.

If none of the above works, delete and reinstall DayZ. Corrupted game data can sometimes cause connection failures.
