    Understood.

The problem has not happened again since I updated Windows, drivers and the other software on my PC, and lowered the graphics settings to the minimum.

At the moment I have no more freezes or crashes to reproduce, so unfortunately I cannot generate a freeze dump right now.

I will keep the -freezeCheckMode minidump parameter ready and, if the problem happens again, I will leave the game running instead of immediately closing it and provide the generated report.

Thank you for helping me investigate this.

Hi, thanks for the additional questions.

No, I have not experienced the same freezing/crashing problems in my other games. As far as I can tell, the issue was happening specifically with Arma Reforger.

I want to clarify the timeline because I may not have explained it clearly before.

I bought the game on September 27. After I started experiencing these freezes/crashes, I stopped playing the game for a while instead of continuously playing through the problems. I only started testing it again after I had updated practically everything on my PC, including Windows, drivers, and other software.

I also tried lowering the graphics settings to the absolute minimum. After doing that, the freezes/crashes stopped happening during my subsequent testing. I still do not know what was actually causing the problem, however. I don't want to claim that lowering the graphics settings definitely fixed it.

My PC temperatures were normal when the problems occurred. I also checked the GPU/power-related information through the NVIDIA App, and I did not see anything abnormal there.

The important point is that I don't know why the freezes were happening. I was trying different things to determine whether the problem was caused by my PC, drivers, graphics settings, or the game itself.

I can try the -freezeCheckMode minidump parameter you suggested if the freeze happens again. I will also provide the DxDiag and Reliability Monitor information.

And just to clarify: I really like Arma Reforger and the game itself is exactly the kind of game I was looking for. That's why I am trying to properly investigate the problem rather than simply assuming that the game is broken.

If you need any additional information or want me to test something specific, please ask and I will provide it.

Hi, thank you for the response.

I’ll provide all the information I can.

    1. What exactly happens:
I have experienced several different stability issues with the game. In some cases, the game completely froze and the screen stopped responding. I then had to press Alt+F4 repeatedly until the game finally stopped hanging. In other cases, the game simply closed/crashed.

The problems did not occur only online. I also experienced crashes/freezes while playing on the training ground, without being connected to an online server.

After one of these incidents, I launched the game again, but later realized that the crash report had not been recorded. As far as I understand, I may have accidentally cancelled the crash report/collection process while repeatedly pressing Alt+F4 because the game was frozen. This may be why that crash does not appear in your Crashstash.

    1. When/where does it happen:
There is no specific time or location where it consistently happens. The stability problems occurred over several days and happened both online and while playing on the training ground.

    2. DxDiag: in link
I will provide my DxDiag. Before sending it, I will remove personal/sensitive information that is not necessary for troubleshooting.

    3. Reliability Monitor:
I will also provide a screenshot/information from Reliability Monitor (perfmon /rel).

    4. Overclock / XMP / overlays / mods:
There is no overclocking on my system. I am not using any GPU overclocking software, and my GPU settings are at their default values.

Regarding mods: some of my sessions were played with mods enabled. I take this into account and I am not claiming that every error in the logs is necessarily caused by the vanilla game.

    1. Did it work before / what changed:
The stability problems started appearing over the last several days. After the problems started, I tried to rule out issues on my side as much as possible. I updated Windows, drivers, and other software that could be updated.

After that, I continued testing the game, but the problems had already occurred before these updates.

    1. Video:
I am not sure if I can record the exact moment of a crash because the problem does not occur consistently at a specific point. If I manage to reproduce it and record it properly, I will provide a video.

I can also provide additional logs or any other information if it would help determine the cause of the problem.

    Thank you.
