If you change the period, it will show the issues by votes cast in that period. So this is actually working as it should and there is no problem. I think the period filter is the right choice, as otherwise you'd get the problem that issues with a lot of votes would crowd out current issues, causing them to not be highlighted properly.

so maybe "Top 5 voted issues" need to be removed, so it clears to "Top 5 active issues"
For me activity windows is very small, it feels like if you posted, it will be here in couple days with couple of upvotes and comments, and then it washed by other
No matter how many upvotes youd get in that period and so, no reason to keep the conversation up, while the problem exists.

So maybe unsolved problem, needs to be uptoped on activity, since ASSIGNED status doesnt mean anything at all, since devs can work on this tasks for years

I guess that renaming it to something like: "Top 5 issues by votes in selected period" would be more accurate. Does it fit on the screen of the average user though?

I have issue, which is got upvoted 30+ times in one day.

Top 5 active issues doesnt reflect "ACTIVITY" at all meanings, so i think this is a problem

Is there an indexation period, e.g. only indexing votes once a day or something? If there is, then that might explain it. If there isn't, then this does represent a problem.
