There is lots of available space on the page. But the dropdown only takes up a small part of it, and then cuts off the text.

And its not possible to see the full text (like a tooltip when hovering over truncated text), other than selecting the entry.

The select menu entries are limited to 50 characters, just making it wide enough to support those 50 characters without truncating (if the screen is wide enough) would be sufficient.
