Description

It's very unpleasant to look at when using dark mode in a dark environment.

    Thanks @dragino .

Unfortunately our consent management platform does not support contextual dark mode switching, it's only a hard switch between light/dark mode on the backend. As much as I hate it too as dark mode user, since the cookie banner is a "click it once and its gone" thing, I'd treat it as acceptable discomfort.

I have, however, sent the feedback to the development team of CookieHub and hopefully they can make it contextual.

I have meanwhile switched the default of the cookie banner to darkmode, will confirm when/if the 3rd party provider can make it contextual.
