I’m getting seriously fed up with this happening. This is now the second time in a week.

I logged out hidden in a bush, miles from anywhere, this time near the military convoy at Dam Bog on 20/09/2026 at approximately 20-09-2026 12:20 GMT. When I logged back in AFTER 30 MINS, I was shot almost immediately and, of course, killed.

There were only nine players on the server at the time, which makes the circumstances even more suspicious.

I have over 6,000 hours in DayZ, so I know the difference between being legitimately spotted and something that simply does not feel right. Cheating appears to be getting worse, and incidents like this are destroying my confidence in the game.

DayZ desperately needs some form of kill cam, death replay, or post-death information so players can at least understand how they were killed and report genuinely suspicious behaviour with some evidence rather than being left guessing.

Please investigate the player activity around the Dam Bog military convoy at the time stated above. Server logs should hopefully show who killed me, where they were positioned, and whether there was anything abnormal about the encounter.

I have supported DayZ for years, but incidents like this are pushing me towards walking away from the game completely. If the cheating problem continues unchecked, I certainly won’t be purchasing further expansions.

I would appreciate this incident being properly investigated rather than simply dismissed as another unexplained death.
