I have been playing DayZ for around 6 years and I have never experienced this issue before.

Today I reinstalled DayZ after not playing for some time. At the same time, a friend of mine bought DayZ for the first time. For some reason, we are both experiencing the exact same problem: the game crashes when trying to join any server, including both official and community servers.

I have already tried almost everything I could think of:

• Completely reinstalled DayZ.

• Verified the integrity of the game files.

• Deleted the DayZ configuration/cache files.

• Reinstalled the DayZ Launcher.

• Tried both official and community servers.

• Tried servers with and without mods.

• Made sure the installations were clean.

The issue happens with every server we try, not just one specific server.

We are also using different internet connections, so it does not appear to be a problem with the same network.

The crash report shows:

Exception: SEH exception thrown. Exception code: 0xc06d007f

My report also shows:

CPU: 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-12450H

RAM: 32388 MB

This is very strange because neither of us had this problem before, and my friend has a completely fresh installation.

Any help or information about this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Launch DayZ through Steam on Windows 11, select any official or community server from the in-game server browser, and click "Join". As the game attempts to establish a connection and initialize BattEye, the loading screen hangs briefly and the application crashes to desktop after approximately 6 seconds, displaying the Crash Reporter window with Exit Code 0xC06D007F and an Access Violation error (0x10).

DayZ should connect to the selected server and load into the game normally
