There is an invincibility/God mode glitch that players can do on official servers on Xbox. This is also a problem on Playstation servers. The players do a series of easy steps, which I will have posted in the reproduction box below, and they enter a glitched/bugged state where they look armless, have no visible gun held in their hand, and are not killable. It is rumored you can still kill them with explosives. If you log out and log back in, they are no longer armless and invincible for you only.
In the past 6 months or so, this bug/exploit has become extremely popular among highly geared and frequent players on Xbox official first person only servers, such as 3884 Chernarus and 2157 Livonia. In late game areas, such as Northwest Airfield, and Polana or Dambog bunker, it has become extremely common to run into geared players with this glitch. This has caused the most frustration on this game that I have ever experienced. My friend group has thousands of hours on DayZ official over the years, and I have never seen a gamebreaking glitch like this. We get killed by these players very frequently, if not most of the time in late game.
In my opinion, this should be very high on the priority list for fixing. The game is borderline unplayable for me and my friends, and buying Badlands has for the first time been put into question for us. I do not believe it should be incredibly difficult to patch this exploit. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
