I'm creating this post out of frustration or perhaps better put, passionate frustration. I really want this version to succeed for both players and Bohemia Interactive.
First off I personally believe the launch price was a mistake. Whilst I appreciate there was a launch discount and it has price parity with the other consoles I think it's fair to say it has not served the game well. From launch day up until now the game has not had a very strong population. I found out today via a Reddit comment that some servers have already been taken offline due to the low population. This checks out since I hardly see any EU servers on the browser. It's a Saturday and I'm seeing roughly 20+ players on the EU servers, that is pretty awful.
Not only is the above an issue but the game is littered with performance issues and crashing. I've made several posts on here regarding these issues and whilst we had a patch...for me personally the high amount of crashing has yet to stop. I've lost characters and vehicles due to this and I can see that this has happened to a lot of players on Reddit also. 50% of the topics related to the Switch 2 port is mentioning crashing and bugs. There is no incentive to play long term if you're going to lose your character or vehicles to issues like these.
The port has clearly not been tested enough prior to release and the lack of solid fixes I believe has hindered it.
Please please, I implore BI Studios. Fix this port and please consider a sale sooner rather than later. Please do not pass on future ports of games reaching this platform. I believe the audience is there but it will only be there for a working product with investment from the company that produced it.
