What happened?

Hello, as I was trying to survive and I was at Balota villige (Chernarus map). I get inside of house and I saw that someone was recendly been there. I've decided to hide up the stairs for like two or three minutes when sudenly and out of nowhere I recive a curving and got hit 3 time then I die. Nobody was around me when that happent but that was very unusual.
