What happened?

My mic (MMIC-SE from mars gaming) does not work, even though it does work for everything else like discord, other steam games, and everything in general. I've tried a lot of things to fix it, but no luck. If anyone could help me out with this, or if the devs change their voice chat motor, or add in-game settings for our mics, we could fix this. Im not the only one with this issue, so, if the devs could listen to this and fix it, would be nice.

Does any other microphone work? Have you tried a microphone that connects through the sound card?

no because i dont have another mic, but still, there should be a fix to usb mics.

Hello again.
We are not aware of any issues with USB microphones nor we can reproduce this on our end. Hence why we are trying to troubleshoot if the issue could be with your specific microphone / setup.

Have you checked in Windows Audio Settings Control Panel if the Mic is listed as the default under recording? I had to do this the other day to get my wife's mic to work in the game it was using the default headset mic before.

To get there hit the Windows Key + R and run mmsys.cpl to get to the control panel. There should be a tab labeled recording and then you can set your mic as the default there.
