I launched DayZ and connected to an official server. Shortly after connecting, DayZ_x64.exe memory usage climbs uncontrollably (21-23 GB RAM observed in Task Manager), causing either a crash with nothing written to the script_/RPT logs, or in more severe cases the entire system freezes and Windows shows a low-memory warning. Not tied to one specific server — reproduced on multiple different official servers.

System: Ryzen 5 5600X, AMD RX 6900 XT (16GB), 32GB RAM, Windows 11 25H2 (fresh install). Other demanding games (Battlefield 6, Forza Horizon 6) run perfectly stable on the same hardware.

1. Launch DayZ (Launcher or Run DayZ Client).

2. Connect to an official server.

3. Memory usage climbs rapidly - Task Manager shows 21,000-23,000 MB used by DayZ_x64.exe within a short time.

4. Game crashes or the entire system freezes.

Already tried, issue persists through all of it:

- Full Windows reinstall + full DayZ file wipe and reinstall

- AMD Adrenalin drivers freshly installed

- Radeon Anti-Lag and Image Sharpening disabled

- All overlays disabled (AMD, Steam)

- Page file set to fixed size (16-32GB)

- BattlEye service verified working

- No Display/TDR events in Event Viewer at time of crash

- No Kernel-Power Event 41 at time of freeze

- Steam Cloud disabled for DayZ

- Verified game file integrity via Steam

- Deleted Documents\DayZ to force a fresh profile

- Launched with -MaxMem=6144 to cap engine memory - ignored, usage still climbed past 21GB

Connect to the server normally with stable memory usage, like other equally demanding games (Battlefield 6, Forza Horizon 6) on the same system.
