Hello Bohemia Interactive Team,
I am experiencing an issue when hosting a dedicated DayZ server.
The server starts successfully and appears to be running normally from the host side. However, external clients cannot see the server in the DayZ server list, even though all required ports have been opened and forwarded correctly on the network/firewall.
Issue:
* Dedicated DayZ server starts without apparent errors.
* The server is accessible locally.
* Required ports are open/forwarded.
* External clients are unable to find the server through the in-game server browser.
* The server does not appear in the public server list for players outside the host's network.
At this point, it is unclear whether the issue is related to:
* Server registration with the DayZ master server
* Steam server-list querying/advertising
* NAT or network detection
* A specific required port or protocol
* Firewall/network configuration
* A recent DayZ server update or backend change
* Another issue on the Bohemia Interactive/DayZ server infrastructure
Could you please clarify what exactly determines whether a dedicated DayZ server is registered and visible to external clients in the public server browser?
In particular, is there currently any known issue or change that could cause a correctly configured dedicated server to start successfully but not be listed for external clients despite all required ports being open?
Any information about the server registration process, relevant logs, or additional ports/settings that should be checked would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
