Linux (kernel 7.0), GE-Proton10-32 with DXVK. NVIDIA RTX 4080 SUPER, AMD Raphael integrated graphics also present.
The client crashes to desktop or freezes, every time, when the player stands at or walks up to one spot on the hill above the east coast, between Kamyshovo and Solnichniy. It happens within seconds of reaching the spot or logging in there. It reproduces on a plain vanilla server and client with no mods loaded.
The game writes no crash report or minidump, and the script, error and RPT logs just stop. Proton's log shows an EXCEPTION_STACK_OVERFLOW on an engine worker thread ("enfWorkShort"), followed by an access violation in DayZ_x64.exe:
code=c00000fd (EXCEPTION_STACK_OVERFLOW) addr=00000001410DF998
Unhandled exception: page fault on write access to 0x0000000099070000 in 64-bit code (0x000001410df998)
Backtrace: =>0 0x000001410df998 in dayz_x64 (+0x10df998)
The overflow also happened twice in earlier sessions, on different enfWorkShort threads. It looks like unbounded recursion in a job the engine runs for something it streams in or draws from that position.
