I am playing DayZ on PlayStation 5 and cannot access the construction materials stored in a player-built wooden fence when the fence is positioned higher than my character.

For example, I am standing on the ground while the affected fence is placed on top of another player-built wall. I cannot access its stored construction materials through the inventory from my available position.

This concerns a wooden fence that I built myself, not a repairable building wall on Nasdara.

At this location, I cannot get my character to the same height as the affected fence. As a result, I cannot retrieve the materials stored in it.

It appears that the height difference may affect access to the fence's attachment/material slots. However, I cannot confirm whether this is intended interaction range behaviour or a bug.

1. Place a player-built wooden fence at an elevated position, for example on top of another player-built wall.

2. Have construction materials stored in the elevated fence's material slots.

3. Stand on the ground below and close to the elevated fence.

4. Open the inventory and attempt to access or retrieve the stored construction materials.

5. Observe that the materials cannot be accessed from this position.

I would expect to be able to access the construction material slots of the elevated fence when standing sufficiently close to it.

If this is intentionally restricted by interaction height or distance, please clarify the intended way to retrieve materials when the fence can be built at a position that the player cannot reach.
