Suggestion
Allow players to drain water from vehicle radiators into containers such as bottles, canteens or cooking pots.
On Nasdara, finding water can be particularly challenging due to the desert environment and limited availability of water sources.
Meanwhile, vehicle radiators can contain several liters of water, but players currently cannot recover that water for other purposes.
Proposed Mechanics
Allow players to collect water from an installed radiator using a suitable container.
The amount collected should be deducted from the radiator's remaining water.
The collected water should be considered unsafe to drink without purification.
Draining too much water should leave the vehicle at risk of overheating if driven.
Optionally, the action could require a tool or take some time to complete.
Benefits
This would introduce another survival option, especially on maps such as Nasdara, where water scarcity is an important gameplay element.
It would also create an interesting trade-off: players could sacrifice a vehicle's cooling water to survive, potentially making the vehicle unusable until the radiator is refilled.
The mechanic could be available on all DayZ maps rather than being exclusive to Nasdara.
