Last night I placed 2 4dial codelocks on 2 gates. Both set to the same code, but today when attempting the codes neither lock opened. I tried 1111 and 0000 to see if the locks reset entirely. Even attempted every digit off of my code and nothing. Seems as if the codes are forced to a random combination when placed on gate. I also noticed that the same combo lock will display 2 different codes on either side of the door.
