i launch dayz in Linux, I start playing. A few seconds or sometimes (rarely) a few minutes later i get a very loud ***POP*** and boom zero audio in game from that point on. The only fix is to quit out of the game ENTIRELY, delete my headphones from my list of attached BT devices, reattach them and relaunch the game.

A few seconds/mintes later ***POP*** and im back to square one.

I had claude investigate and this is what it found....

- DayZ opens a voice-chat mic stream the moment it starts, and it uses a 48 kHz output stream into a link that's mono 8 kHz. Most games don't force that mix.
