We are playing on an official 3758 eu-de DayZ server on PC.

Yesterday, we installed a brand-new four-dial combination lock on our base gate. The original code was 1111. We changed it to 9411, but the lock would not open, even when entering the code we had just set.

We initially thought we had entered the wrong code, so I dismantled the gate. We rebuilt it and installed another lock, setting the code to 9411 again. The exact same problem occurred.

The lock will not open with the correct code, and the “Detach lock” interaction does not appear.

This has left me trapped inside my own base. Dismantling and rebuilding the gate did not solve the problem.

Expected result: The lock should open or be removable when the correct combination is entered.

Actual result: The lock remains locked, and no “Detach lock” interaction is available.

Please investigate whether this is a bug affecting four-dial combination locks on official servers, especially following the latest update.

What went wrong:
The lock would not open with the correct code. The same problem occurred with a second new lock after rebuilding the gate. The “Detach lock” interaction was also unavailable. I am now trapped inside my own base and cannot remove the lock. This happened on an Official PC server on 24 October 2026.
