I have use the same code on 3 different 4-dial combination locks on Nasdata, official servers. In each case, once the combination look had been fit to a wooden door on a rebuilt building, entering the precise combination did not unlock ANY of the locks.

1. Built Wooden Door inside rebuildable house.

2. Set 4-dial combination lock with a combination.

3. Fit lock to door.

4. The combination can not be removed now by entering the code set only moments before. It is either randomising or failing to unlock.

I would expect the combination lock to fall to the floor at the foot of the door, while having saved the initially entered code on it.
