In the official DayZ Launcher server browser, there is no visual indicator or status warning when a server is running an outdated or incompatible game version compared to the user's client.

Players can click Join without any prior notice, wait for the game to launch, and only then encounter a connection failure error in-game stating that the server/client versions do not match.

1. Open the DayZ Launcher after a fresh game update.

2. Locate a community server in the list that has not yet been updated by its administrator to the latest build.

3. Observe the server listing in the launcher (there is no red highlighting, warning badge, or version mismatch indicator).

4. Click Join.

5. Wait for the game executable to load, only to be rejected at the main menu with a version mismatch error.

• The launcher should clearly flag servers running an incompatible game version (e.g., displaying a warning icon, graying out the join button, or showing an "Outdated Version" tag).
