- After washing the head or wetting clothes, the game sets a 30 s "temporary resistance", meant to stop heat stroke
from building up again right away.
- But ThermalBiasHandler.Add() ignores every change while that timer runs, decreases included:
```c
// 4_World/Classes/ThermalBiasHandler.c
void Add(float value)
{
if (m_TemporaryResistanceTime > 0.0)
return; // also blocks negative values (recovery)
...
}
// ActionWashHeadWettingClothesBase.c OnFinishProgressServer
action_data.m_Player.GetThermalBiasHandler().Add(-PlayerConstants.THERMAL_BIAS_WASH_HEAD_DECREMENT); // -0.175
action_data.m_Player.GetThermalBiasHandler().SetTemporaryResistance(PlayerConstants.THERMAL_BIAS_WASH_HEAD_TEMPORARY_RESISTANCE_TIME); // 30 s
```
- So for 30 s after a wash, natural recovery is blocked, and a second wash in that window does nothing.
- Holding the wash action repeats it every few seconds. Only the first repeat counts, and each repeat resets the
30 s timer, so washing continuously freezes heat stroke for as long as you keep washing, plus 30 s.
