I have tagged PlayStation but Xbox would benefit from this as well, PC can mod it, so that's fine for them.
But there are so many talented people out there who use the DayZ Editor, people that create unique and beautiful events such as Mazes, bunkers and fully custom areas.
This adds a whole new level of engagement for any custom server, something to explore and new challenges to overcome. But it is hindered by the AI pathing system, which is unchangeable by us on console (I get it, we wont be able to) - But when we place a wall down, a rock, a car, anything that has collision to us (the player) it SHOULD auto update so that the AI also has that same collision in mind, so they cant walk through walls, under the floor etc.
I know there was talk of overall AI improvements and I hope this is something you take into consideration as and when that ever materializes.
I don't think a full navmesh update is fully required for this, just a simple check when the ObjectSpawn Array is placed into the world, to tell the current pathing system "Hey, you cant walk here"
