What happened?
Since update 1.30, several players crash every time they start DayZ with our server’s mod set (58 mods, Deer Isle map). The crash happens during startup, before connecting to any server. Other players, including the server owner, load the exact same mod files on the same game version and never crash. The crash is identical on every affected machine, which points to an engine-level fault triggered by mod script content that crashes certain PCs.
Reproduction steps
load version 1.30.164078.
Subscribe to all 54 mods in the Mod list section (In order).
Open the official DayZ Launcher → Mods tab. Wait until all 54 mods are downloaded, then select (load) all of them.
Click Play.
Wait 60 seconds without touching anything.
Result:
Affected machine: the game closes about 25 seconds after launch. The Crash Reporter shows
Access violation. Illegal read by 0x7ff…04dc at 0x6b.Unaffected machine: the server loads.
On an affected machine, collect
crash_*.log,DayZ_x64_*.RPT,error_*.log,script_*.logand*.mdmpfrom%localappdata%\DayZ.
Also reproduces: with DZSA Launcher (mods loaded from !dzsal), and when joining the server. On affected machines the result is identical every time.

Expected result
On affected machines (5 of 8 tested), DayZ crashes every time about 25 seconds after launch, during startup and before reaching the main menu or connecting to a server. The crash comes about 2 seconds after the ANIMATION … skeletons.anim.xml lines appear in the RPT, while the 4_World scripts are being compiled. The Crash Reporter shows Access violation. Illegal read by 0x7ff…04dc at 0x6b, identical on every affected machine.
