In some bases, players can stand and walk in mid-air without any visible surface beneath their feet. It feels as though there is an invisible floor supporting the character.

We run a lightly modded server. No base-building mods or other mods that alter base-building mechanics are active.

The issue does not occur in every base, and we have not yet identified what triggers it.
