I'm experiencing a recurring audio bug while playing DayZ on the Badlands server.

At seemingly random moments during gameplay, I hear a short popping or clicking sound, similar to plugging in an audio jack. Immediately afterward, a high-pitched ringing sound occurs, similar to the tinnitus effect after a grenade explosion.

After this happens, the in-game audio completely stops working. I can no longer hear footsteps, gunshots, environmental sounds, or any other game audio.

However, all other audio applications, including Discord, continue working perfectly fine. I can still hear and communicate with my friends without any issues.

The only way to restore the in-game audio is to completely restart DayZ.

• Launch DayZ and join the Badlands server.

• Play normally for some time.

• At random intervals, a popping sound occurs, followed by a high-pitched ringing noise.

• All in-game audio stops working.

• Restarting DayZ restores the sound temporarily.

In-game audio should continue working normally without interruptions.
