Joycon mouse mode is unplayable due to a persistent, permanent bug where the trigger button either spams uncontrollably or doesn’t work at all. It’s been this way for a month with no sign of a fix or that the problem’s even been looked at. Ideally in a game that features shooting, the button that makes you shoot should work.

Use joycon mouse mode. Holding down the trigger/attack button (R by default) either fires sporadically or not at all.
