Dear Bohemia Interactive Support,

I am writing to submit a bug report regarding a persistent performance issue I have been experiencing in DayZ. I have been in contact with Dominic from Bohemia Interactive support, and I have followed all of his instructions and suggestions. In addition to his recommendations, I have also tried a large number of different solutions on my own. Unfortunately, the issue still persists.

My system specifications:

• GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT

• CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600

• RAM: 16 GB DDR4

• GPU driver: Up to date (latest available version)

Issue summary:

• DayZ does not perform as expected.

• My GPU and CPU usage never go above 70%, even when the game is running poorly.

• I tested with a new character and a new server without mods as well.

• I also observed that the game runs very smoothly on the modded Namalsk map, but the issue remains in the non-modded/vanilla test.

• The problem continues after all troubleshooting steps below.

• My GPU driver is fully up to date, and I still experience the issue.

• I also disabled DXNAVI in an attempt to resolve the problem, but the issue still persists and has not been fixed.

Troubleshooting steps I have already tried, as requested by Dominic:

1. Generated and sent the DxDiag report.

2. Generated and sent the MSInfo report.

3. Sent all DayZ RPT files from %userprofile%\AppData\Local\DayZ.

4. Sent all requested files in one message and did not zip/rar them.

5. Deleted all startup parameters I was using, including:
   -high -heapsize 12000000 -cpuCount=6 -exThreads=12 -malloc=system -noBenchmark -noLogs -world=empty -c...

6. Disabled Steam Cloud saves for DayZ:

   • Opened Steam Library

   • Right-clicked on DayZ

   • Selected “Properties” and then “General”

   • Disabled Steam Cloud

7. Created a new character and tested on a new server without mods.

8. Noted that GPU/CPU usage never goes up to 70% or higher.

9. Performed a clean boot of Windows.

10. Verified the integrity of the game files.

11. Started the game again after the clean boot and integrity verification.

12. Confirmed that my GPU driver is up to date.

13. Disabled DXNAVI to try to fix the issue.

Result:
Unfortunately, the issue still persists after all of these steps. Disabling DXNAVI did not resolve the problem either, and none of the additional solutions I tried on my own made any difference.
