What happened?

Hello BattlEye Support,

I am experiencing a persistent BattlEye issue in DayZ and I need help identifying the cause.

Whenever I play DayZ, I am repeatedly kicked with the following error:

Warning (0x000400F0)

BattlEye: Client not responding

On Official DayZ servers, I can usually play for only a few minutes before being kicked. The error is consistently the same.

I have already tried the following:

- Tested multiple Official DayZ servers.

- Tested Official servers with all mods completely disabled.

- Verified the integrity of the DayZ game files through Steam.

- Reinstalled/refreshed the BattlEye installation.

- Checked and refreshed the BattlEye files in:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\BattlEye

- Checked the BattlEye folder inside the DayZ installation directory.

- Checked the BattlEye Service / BEService.

- Checked my Windows Firewall settings.

- Completely disabled AVG Antivirus temporarily to test whether it was interfering with BattlEye. The problem still occurred.

- Reset the Windows network stack using:

netsh winsock reset

netsh int ip reset

ipconfig /flushdns

- Restarted my PC.

- Restarted my Huawei P30 Lite.

- Restarted the mobile hotspot.

- Tested my internet connection with continuous ping.

- Tested a continuous ping to the DayZ server IP.

- The ping remained stable without timeouts or obvious connection interruptions.

- Checked DayZ crash reports.

- No new crash.dmp file was created after the BattlEye kick.

- Reinstalled/ran the BattlEye installation again.

- Restarted Steam and DayZ multiple times.

I am currently connected to the internet through a Huawei P30 Lite mobile hotspot because I do not currently have access to another internet connection for testing.

An important additional test:

I also tried joining a modded DayZ server hosted by my brother. I received the exact same BattlEye error:

0x000400F0 – BattlEye: Client not responding

On that server, I was kicked while I was still in the loading screen.

This makes the issue appear to occur independently of a specific DayZ server. The same BattlEye error occurs on Official servers and on the modded server.

I also checked a DayZ crash report from the modded-server test. That particular report contained an "Access violation. Illegal read" and a .mdmp file, but this test was performed with the server's mods enabled, so I do not know whether that crash is related to the BattlEye issue.

GPU Driver: 582.78

DayZ Version: 1.29.163709

Operating System: Windows

The main issue I would like help with is the persistent:

0x000400F0 – BattlEye: Client not responding

Could you please tell me which BattlEye logs, diagnostic files, or additional tests you need from me to determine why BattlEye is losing communication with my DayZ client?

If there is a specific BattlEye diagnostic procedure for this error, I am happy to perform it and provide the resulting files.

Thank you for your help.

Best regards,

Tyler
