Hello DayZ Team,
I’m writing on behalf of a small group of close friends who have played DayZ together for years.
Our friend Mason, known in-game as ReakHvk, tragically passed away in a motorcycle accident.
DayZ was a game we shared for years, and Mason absolutely loved being part of our group. He enjoyed everything from intense firefights to building and maintaining our bases, but what meant the most to him was simply being there with his friends and being part of the experience.
We would like to respectfully ask if the DayZ team would consider placing a memorial cross for Mason at his last login/logout location. That location was also where our last base together was located. We intend to keep that place as our home in DayZ from this day forward, as a permanent place for our group to remember him.
If possible, we would also be incredibly grateful if a Black Assault Helmet with Visor could be placed in front of the cross. It was an item Mason particularly loved finding and using in DayZ, and it would make the memorial especially meaningful to those of us who played alongside him.
We understand that this is a special request and that there may be limitations on what can be done. We simply wanted to reach out and ask. Having a small place within the world of DayZ that we could visit and remember our friend would mean more to our group than we can put into words.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for creating the game that gave us so many years of memories together.
