I purchased the Badlands expansion and have been experiencing a recurring licensing issue since installing it. When attempting to play on the Nasdara map, DayZ fails to recognize that I own the DLC.
The error returns repeatedly, usually when I first launch the game for the day.
Troubleshooting already performed:
Disabled and re-enabled the Badlands add-on through Xbox Manage Game and Add-ons.
Saved the changes and performed a complete console power cycle.
Discovered that disconnecting the Xbox power cord for a few seconds temporarily restores access.
Completely uninstalled and reinstalled the main DayZ game.
Reinstallation resolved the issue for approximately one day, but the licensing error returned.
Expected behaviour:
DayZ should consistently recognize my purchased Badlands licence whenever I launch the game.
Actual behaviour:
The licence repeatedly fails validation, preventing access to purchased content until the Xbox is physically disconnected from power and restarted.
Additional information:
Other Xbox players have publicly reported similar DLC ownership recognition problems following the Badlands release, including players who successfully accessed purchased DLC before subsequently receiving ownership errors.
Please investigate whether the Badlands update introduced a problem with Xbox DLC entitlement verification, caching, or licence initialization.
I would appreciate confirmation that this issue has been received, whether it is a known defect, and whether a permanent fix is being developed.
