I am the creator of the Banov community map, and I would like to report a serious dedicated server performance issue involving vanilla vehicles in DayZ Experimental 1.30.
During extensive testing, I noticed that enabling regular vanilla cars through the Central Economy causes a significant reduction in server simulation FPS.
Observed behavior:
With regular cars disabled, the server performs normally.
With only the newer motorcycles enabled, server performance remains stable.
When regular vanilla cars are enabled, server simulation FPS can drop to approximately 20.
The issue has been observed across different hosting configurations.
Testing with a reduced mod setup using Banov did not eliminate the issue.
The performance degradation appears to be associated with regular cars rather than general terrain simulation.
Previous diagnostic logs also showed invalid vehicle position warnings involving Hatchback_02 and OffroadHatchback, including invalid numerical coordinates such as -nan(ind).
I cannot confirm whether these warnings are directly responsible for the performance loss.
Because Banov is a custom terrain, potential causes could include vehicle physics, collision geometry, vehicle spawning, persistence, or interaction with the Central Economy.
I would greatly appreciate an investigation into this behavior in DayZ 1.30, especially regarding vehicle simulation on custom terrains.
My goal is to determine whether this is an engine-related problem or whether specific terrain or vehicle configuration changes are required.
Thank you for supporting the DayZ modding community.
