First of all, I'd like to congratulate the team on adding motorcycles to DayZ. This will undoubtedly change the entire dynamic of the game.
Sluggish Steering / Responsiveness: The bikes feel overly stiff and sluggish when turning while in motion, especially during high-speed cornering.
Dismantling Parts in Motion: As widely seen on social media and experienced during gameplay, players are currently able to remove tires, spark plugs, and fairings/chassis parts while the bike is moving. This breaks immersion completely and leads to a frustrating experience.
Seating Capacity: While I understand the JANA 50 being limited to a single player, the BITRACK 682 clearly has enough seat space for two players. Allowing a passenger on it would make the experience much more fun and practical.
Mounting / Vehicle Interaction: Having to look directly at a specific interaction point just to get the "Hold to Enter" prompt feels clunky. It should be more intuitive: simply holding the assigned interaction key while standing close to the vehicle should allow the player to mount/enter. Streamlining this would improve quality of life across all vehicles.
Ragdoll Physics: It is definitely fun, but it currently has several glitches where characters get launched into the sky. Some wipeout animations also feel overly exaggerated and play out unnaturally fast.
Starting the Engine: When it comes to the starting system, there should definitely be a chance of failure. Anyone familiar with kick-start bikes knows they rarely fire up on the first try, so adding a kick-start mechanic with realistic ignition difficulty would add great immersion.
Manual Handling / Pushing the Bike: Motorcycles frequently get wedged or stuck in bushes, fences, and trees, which can sometimes block the collision model and prevent the player from mounting back on. Adding the same "Push" mechanic that cars have—or a manual action to pull and free the bike on foot—is essential. In real life, anyone can easily manhandle or drag a bike out of thick bushes, and this would prevent vehicles from being permanently stuck in environmental geometry.
Shooting from Vehicles (Drive-by): This has been a long-requested feature across all vehicles, but with motorcycles—especially if a passenger seat is enabled—it makes even more sense. Allowing passengers (or even the driver with reduced accuracy) to shoot sidearms or one-handed weapons while in motion would add immense tactical depth and make motorized encounters much more engaging.
Adding More Vehicles: This update opens great possibilities for more two-wheeled vehicles or even animal mounts in the future. A great example of community work that fits the game’s atmosphere seamlessly.
Steam Workshop mod: RUSForma_Motorcycles

It would certainly make perfect sense to have a more robust addition to the game, featuring an inventory system.
Steam Workshop mod: DayZ-Bicycle

Here, without a doubt, you would relive the entire experience that gave life to DayZ—for anyone who played the mod in Arma 2.
Steam Workshop mod: DayZ Horse

It would be the pinnacle of a survival game on the scale of DayZ—and I’d go even further and implement a camel system, which makes perfect sense given the upcoming Badlands DLC.
That’s all for now; thank you for reading through to the end, and I hope our beloved DayZ has a glorious future ahead! 🚀
