Created a world systems config "Systems.conf" that inherrits from "BaseGameModeSystems.conf" (file attached).
Created persistence config "Persistence.conf" (file attached).
Issue:
When creating a persistence collection and giving it a name, that exceeds 20 characters, the dedicated server / server localhost will crash with "unhandled exception" (crash log attached).
Method:
I created a new project as mentioned above and testet with the dedicated server tool (screenshot attached)
It does not matter if I use the PersistentSessionStorage or the GamemodeStorage. Also it does not matter if I use the SCR_BinarySave/Load or SCR_JsonSave/Load contexts.
With any of these possible combinations - if I change the collection name back to being 20 characters long, the server starts normal.
It makes no difference if the collection name is all numeric, all letters, or any combination. As long as it shorter or equal to 20 characters.
Notes:
When creating a new project, creating the systems config, Workbench needs to be restarted for it to load the systems config (different bug).
Addition:
Not only does the server crash on systems load, if the collection name is longer than 20 characters, it also crashes on serialization (SavegameManager.RequestSavePoint), when the collection name is longer than 18 characters...
I noticed this when using an EntityPersistenceConfig with a rule set to a simple GenericEntity and with GenericEntitySerializer. In script, a prefab of that entity is spawned and tracked. On save the server crashes with "unhandled exception".
