Current example from vanilla script documentation:
BaseContainer rootContainer = LoadMe();
ContainerID containerPath = {
new ContainerIdPathEntry("Points", 1),
new ContainerIdPathEntry("Metadata")
};
BaseContainer shapePoint = containerPath.GetOrCreateDirectPtr(rootContainer);
if (shapePoint)
shapePoint.Set("Name", "my new name");
SaveMe(rootContainer);
This basically accesses the an element of the points array by index (new ContainerIdPathEntry("Points", 1)).
Request: It should also be possible to access array elements purely by ID/name. This is useful when you have an array of named containers, and want to access a specific one without knowing its index, only its ID. This is currently not easily possible, a good solution would be to add another constructor overload: ContainerIdPathEntry("Points","ID")
