The problem:
I am using the workbench to capture sat images for my webapp tacops (https://app.tacops.gg) and when scanning terrains with big elevation differences, I constantly have to fight paralax effects.
Currently I solve this in part by using a narrow FOV (15deg) camera high up in the air (900m) which reduces but does not eliminate the issue, and also causes other issues (need to force LODs, never getting to render grass at that distance etc)
The solution:
If I had access to either an "orthographic projecton" checkbox on the camera tool, or a completely seperate, controllable orthographic camera that I can use, that would eliminate a lot of magic I have to do to get tiles aligned properly.
