I am experiencing an issue when configuring the slider axis on the WINWING URSA MINOR joystick in Arma Reforger's native control settings.
I use this slider as a helicopter collective control. However, when trying to assign separate functions for "Collective Up" and "Collective Down", the game does not recognize the two directions independently.
The game only detects the entire slider axis movement (both upward and downward) as the same input. As a result, assigning the slider to one function also triggers the same input when assigning the opposite function.
This makes it impossible to properly configure the slider as a collective axis using the native control settings.
Expected behavior:
The game should recognize the slider as a single analog axis, with its positive and negative directions correctly interpreted, allowing the collective to increase when moving the slider in one direction and decrease when moving it in the opposite direction.
Ideally, the game should also support assigning the axis directly as an analog collective input, rather than requiring separate directional bindings.
Actual behavior:
Both "Collective Up" and "Collective Down" detect the same full-axis movement, resulting in conflicting assignments and making the slider unusable as a helicopter collective control.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open the native control settings.
2. Select the helicopter controls.
3. Attempt to bind the slider to "Collective Up".
4. Move the slider upward. Don't work...
5. Move the slider downward. The game detects
Hardware: WINWING URSA MINOR
Control: Analog slider axis
Game: Arma Reforger
This issue appears to be related to how the game detects and separates the positive and negative directions of analog slider axes.
